About Alexandra Anca
Alexandra is a registered dietitian who is dedicated to offering practical nutrition advice in a way that benefits you. A busy professional herself, Alexandra knows the struggle of having to balance your busy lifestyle with proper eating. That way, Alexandra’s advice is achievable and easy to incorporate into your daily routine.
Alexandra holds a Masters of Health Science degree specializing in Community Nutrition and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences from University of Toronto. She completed post-graduate clinical experience at the Toronto Western Hospital and Centre Médico-Social Communautaire.
Alexandra is member of the College of Dietitians of Ontario, Dietitians of Canada and is Chair of the Consulting Dietitians Network. She also serves as Nutrition Advisor to the Toronto Chapter of the Canadian Celiac Association and is also Scientific Advisor to the association’s Professional Advisory Board. She is the author of the Guide to the Acceptability of Foods and Food Ingredients in the Gluten-free Diet (2014), Complete Gluten-free Diet and Nutrition Guide (2010) and The Total Food Allergy Health and Diet Guide (2012).
